This conference will carry on the tradition of a series of international conferences begun in 1977 by Purdue University—now organized by the International Society for Concrete Pavements. As with the previous international conferences, the focus of the twelfth conference will be to present information on new technologies related to the design, construction and rehabilitation of various types of concrete pavements. These presentations will include peer reviewed paper presentation and ten sponsored workshops.

As the global pandemic of COVID-19 continues to affect health and travel possibilities for our international audience , the 12th International Conference on Concrete Pavements (12th ICCP) will be held online for 2021.

– Scope –

This conference is targeted at pavement, materials, and geotechnical engineering professionals who are involved in all aspects of concrete pavement design, construction, testing and evaluation, and rehabilitation. These professionals include federal, state, and municipal engineers; consulting engineers; contractors; materials suppliers; and academia.

The conference program will consist of presentations and discussions of new developments related to concrete pavement technology. Emphasis will be placed on implementable products and techniques that result in long-lasting new and rehabilitated concrete pavements, and the use of concrete to rehabilitate other types of pavements.

– Conference Topics –

Papers and conference presentations are being solicited for a wide range of topics related to the mission of the ISCP: to further engineering and technical education, scientific investigation, and research in all areas related to concrete pavements. Papers and presentations dealing with emerging topics are also encouraged. Specific areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

Design of concrete pavements
Concrete pavement materials
Concrete pavement construction
Preservation of concrete pavements
Concrete resurfacing solutions/concrete overlays
Rehabilitation of concrete pavements
Pavement performance prediction and evaluation
Durability of concrete pavements
Techniques for analysis
Pavement economics and life cycle cost analysis
Concrete pavement sustainability and life cycle assessment
Innovative design methods
Testing, instrumentation and sensing in concrete pavements
Pavement surface characteristics
Concrete pavement performance and asset management

Selection of papers will be based on peer reviews of the suitability of the topic, quality of the paper, and near-term applicability of the subject to practice. The conference is expected to be of significant benefit to both practicing and research engineers. The presentations will comprise comprehensive and current coverage on concrete pavement technology.

– Official Language –

The official language of the conference will be English. All papers and presentations will be prepared accordingly. Translation into other languages will not be provided at this conference.
